Nathan Jurevicius has created a fantastic little world for Scary Girl and her friends over the years, with comic books, toys and other fun things to buy, have and love. He has recently created this interactive game online. I’m not much of a video game player, I pretty much suck at it, but this one is really fun…mostly because it’s so pretty. So even if I’m being stung by jellyfish schools, I can “Ooh” and “Aww” about how nice it looks, while I am loosing all of my life points.

With great reverence, artist Brian Dettmer gives new dimension to the written word with his carved books. His process involves binding pages, carving to reveal the interior illustrations and words, and using the books remaining form to create a complex, three-dimensional sculpture. LOVELY!

As if plucked from a Grim Brother’s fairy tale, Viona of viona-art.com breathes an air of magic into every one of her photo’s subjects. The costuming, the makeup, the scenery are all exquisite. I have been a long time fan of her work. I hope you love it too.

Artist Kako Ueda works in the traditional Japanese art form of handcut paper. The detail is spellbinding. I could stare at it (or would it be into it?) for hours.
